Jesus

You are loved.  Loved beyond measure, by the Author of Love.  

You were created.  Created on purpose, for a purpose beyond your wildest imaginations.

Your life is not an accident.  Nor is it that you are reading this truth today.  

 

The King of the Universe is inviting you into a much bigger and glorious picture.  

He’s inviting you to be part of a family that spans all of history and will flow into all eternity. 

He’s extended a royal invitation of friendship.  An adventurous call to follow. A gift of freedom embraced through surrender.

  He offers forgiveness from past mistakes, transformation from the inside out, and a peace beyond understanding.  

Jesus, the Son of God and Saviour of the World, is knocking on the door of your heart today.  He wants to fill the God-shaped-hole within.  He wants to embrace you as His own and show you so much more.  

 

Will you choose to put your faith and trust in Him today?   

If you would like to respond, why not pray this prayer and make the greatest decision anyone could ever make: 

 “GOD, thank You for loving me, despite my shortcomings and failures.  I’m sorry for the times I’ve ignored You and Your ways.  Please forgive me of all sin and give me a brand-new start.  Today I choose to put my faith and trust in You, as my Saviour and King. 

 

Help me to grow in faith and friendship with You.  Help me to share Your love with those around and to fulfil the plan and purpose You have for me.  Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and be my guide.  I give my life to You.  Amen.”  

 

If you sincerely prayed this prayer, “welcome into the family of God!”  The Bible calls you a “new creation” in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).  You are forgiven and have a brand-new start.  The angels are celebrating you coming into the Kingdom of God!  

here are some Next Steps you can take that will help you grow in your faith and friendship with GOD.

  • Tell someone about your decision to become a Christian. Make sure it’s someone who will be supportive and understanding.

  • Get hold of a modern translation of the Bible and start reading it. I’d recommend starting with the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), the first 4 books of the New Testament. Begin with John and work backwards. Ask God to speak to You before you read and apply what You sense God saying. You can download the YouVersion Bible App for free below.

  • Talk and listen to God through praying daily. You don’t have to use fancy, religious language, just be yourself and share your heart. Talk to Him about the highs and lows, your hopes, and dreams. Express gratitude and ask for His help.

  • Look for active ways to share the good news of Jesus with others.

  • Join a good Christian church or community where they value the Bible and welcome the Holy Spirit. Ask God to direct and guide you. It might be helpful to try a few churches out first and then go with the peace of your heart.
